About Us
We’re Marie and Terry, co-founders of Greens and Beans, and our journey into whole food plant-based living began over eight years ago. What started as a personal decision soon became a way of life — one that gradually shaped how we cook, eat, learn, and care for our wellbeing day to day.
As qualified vegan nutritionists, our approach is grounded in education, lived experience, and a genuine love for simple, nourishing food. Marie is a registered member of the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and has also completed a raw food nutritionist diploma, expanding our knowledge and perspective. We are committed to ongoing professional development through CPD to ensure our work remains current, responsible, and evidence-informed. Terry is currently studying gut health, further deepening our understanding of the important role digestion plays in overall wellbeing. We are fully insured, offering reassurance and professionalism in all aspects of our work.
Greens and Beans was created from our own experience of how supportive, enjoyable, and empowering plant-based living can be. The name reflects what we value most — approachable, whole ingredients and a balanced way of eating that fits into real life. Having felt the benefits ourselves, we’re passionate about sharing education, inspiration, and practical guidance that helps others feel more confident and supported on their own wellness journey.
Our philosophy is shaped by both personal experience and the research of leading figures in plant-based nutrition, including Dr. Michael Greger, Dr. T. Colin Campbell, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, and Dr. Neal Barnard. Their evidence-based work informs the educational, non-medical guidance we share with our clients and community.
Important note:
The information and support provided by Greens and Beans is educational in nature and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. We do not provide medical advice. Our services are designed to complement, not replace, the care and guidance of your GP or other qualified healthcare professional. We always encourage clients to seek appropriate medical advice for any health concerns.
